Run the numbers yourself.

Molly is first of all an additional sale on a visit that is happening anyway. The calculator shows what that could mean with your figures, including the scenarios where it does not pay off.

How the calculator works

So you can follow every figure.

Contribution per portion
Net selling price minus variable cost per portion
Contribution per day
Portions per day × contribution per portion, minus extra daily costs
Net turnover per season
Portions per day × net selling price × trading days
Investment recovered
One-off investment divided by the daily contribution, in trading days

Use net amounts throughout. Staff costs, financing, depreciation and general overheads are not included. Do not count power or cleaning twice: put them either in the variable cost or in the daily costs.

What numbers do not show

Beyond the direct sale, Molly can do more. These are possibilities, not promises.
