Molly is a joint venture of two businesses that love ice cream: Der Süße Stopp, an ice cream stand on the lake promenade in Pertisau, and Gel Due, makers of gelato ingredients in Bologna since 1984.
Der Süße Stopp, Pertisau
On the lake promenade in Pertisau on the Achensee, Der Süße Stopp sells soft serve, crêpes and coffee. Every day families pass by with their dogs, and the dogs watch while the people eat their ice cream.
Molly grew out of that observation. The team at Der Süße Stopp brings years of experience in hospitality and soft-serve machines, and has been testing Molly at its own counter since summer 2026.
Der Süße Stopp also sells soft-serve machines and products to hospitality businesses. So we know not only how Molly tastes, but also which machine suits which business and what matters at the counter every day.
Gel Due, Bologna
Since 1984 Gel Due has made ingredients for artisanal and industrial gelato in Casalecchio di Reno near Bologna: bases, pastes, soft serve and more. Gel Due supplies much of Italy and exports worldwide.
For Molly, Gel Due contributes its knowledge of recipes and production. Chiara of Gel Due is developing the recipe further together with us.
Together on the pack
Molly carries both names: Der Süße Stopp and Gel Due. Made in Italy, developed and tested in Tyrol. We are launching Molly together, each doing what we do best.
Austria first, in German, English and Italian. More markets follow once delivery, material and support are ready for them.
