Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. When you visit it, the server stores technical access data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser, operating system, referring page). This serves the secure and stable operation of the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after a short period.

Contact form and email

When you write to us through the form or by email, we process your details (name, business, email, optional phone, town, type of business and your message) to answer your enquiry and to prepare a proposal or pilot agreement. The legal basis is pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Form data is sent to us by email and is not stored in a database on the web server. To prevent abuse, your IP address is counted in hashed form for at most one hour. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and to meet legal obligations.

We pass your enquiry to our partner GELDUE s.r.l. only where that is needed to answer it, for example questions about the recipe or production.

Cookies, fonts and analytics

This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising services. For anonymous visitor statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and builds no user profiles; it only records aggregated data such as pages viewed, referring page, country and device type. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Fonts are loaded from our own server; no data is sent to font providers.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to us at info@dersuessestopp.com. If you believe the processing of your data breaches data protection law, you can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
