For cafés and ice cream shops.
Guests with dogs sit on the terrace, and the dog stands in the queue at the ice cream counter. With Molly it gets a portion of its own, and you have an offer people can see and talk about.

In short
A café or ice cream shop can offer Molly as a flavour of its own for dogs: stir 1 kg of mix with 2 litres of water and 2 bananas, freeze it in a separate soft-serve machine such as Patty, and serve it in small cups. The dog gets its ice cream, the owner usually orders something too, and Molly becomes a reason to come back.
How we do it at Der Süße Stopp
Our ice cream stand sits right on the lake promenade in Pertisau. Every day dogs pass by with their families. Since we started offering Molly, guests ask for it by name, and many dogs now know the way to the counter themselves.
Molly is on our board next to the other flavours. The dog gets a small cup, the owner usually something for themselves.

What matters in a café
Visible at the counter
A sign or a line on the ice cream board is enough. People who see Molly ask for it.
Quick in service
The portion is small and quick to draw, even with a long queue.
Separate from guest ice cream
A machine of its own such as Patty, or a clearly separate routine, makes sure nothing is mixed.
A fair price
You set the selling price yourself. Our calculator helps you work it out.
Questions from cafés
Can I prepare Molly in my soft-serve machine for guests?
We check that together. What matters is clear separation from your guests’ soft serve, for example a separate machine, a separate hopper or set times. More about equipment.
What does a portion cost my guests?
You set the price. You get the cost per portion with our proposal, and you can work through your own scenario in the calculator.
Can dogs eat regular ice cream?
Regular ice cream is not meant for dogs: it is usually made with milk, and many dogs do not tolerate lactose well, and it sometimes contains chocolate or sweeteners such as xylitol, which are toxic to dogs. Molly is made for dogs, vegan and lactose-free, without chocolate, cocoa, xylitol or artificial sweeteners, and is still a treat, not daily food.
How many portions does one kilo of mix make?
That depends on your portion size and machine. With 2 litres of water and 2 bananas, 1 kg of mix makes a larger batch of soft serve. We work out the exact yield for your cups with you in the proposal.
Does Molly bring my business attention?
A dog with its own ice cream is a picture guests take and share. A sign, a spot for photos and your Instagram handle nearby help link those pictures to your business. More ideas under Opportunities.
